Thin and delicate, structures that resemble a bridge and some sort of transmission tower are installed in the corner of the gallery by an old heat register. The bridge does not connect with any surface to traverse and the towers jut out of the walls above at a ninety-degree angle to each other. At the tip of the towers are two flashing red LED lights. Examination of the piece reveals that the controlling circuit for the flashing LEDs is exactly the same for both, yet their timing is just a little off. Their flashing goes in and out of phase, at times seemingly in synch and at times seemingly at opposition. A poetry of light and expectations slightly out of phase is played out quietly over time.
